So the Secretary of Health and Human Services, um, very quickly claimed that these two deaths are-- were fabricated.
Um, um, w- w- first of all, did he ever present any evidence to back this up, Dr. Paul?
See, the problem is, is that the Commonwealth is sort of restricted in what they can say, so they really can't give you any details.
So the only details that were, were coming, were coming from the coroner, and he, who, who recently just declared that the second case is clearly me- caused by measles.
She had severe dehydration, causing her to come into the clinic and get intravenous fluids, during which time she precipitously delivered her child.
The child had splenic rupture, no doubt because the measles virus can cause, uh, an increase in splenic size and splenic fragility, and the birth process is traumatic.
Had the, the mother not had measles, had the child not had measles, the child would probably still be alive.
So that, that RFK Jr. comes in there and says that, first of all, that's not his to say.
He just says, "Well, you fabricated these two deaths," and Governor Shapiro's just catastrophizing this.
Governor Shapiro's giddy with excitement because he gets to catastrophize this in the same way that he catastrophize COVID.
