You know, I've been saying in a lot of the other ones that I one of my favorite monster movies is Jurassic Park, which it is.

But when I think about also other kinds of monsters, I love John Carpenter's The Thing.

And in some ways, a bit similar to our movie, because the monster is not only the scary, creepy, crawly monster, things that go bump in the night, but also the humans.

The humans are also the monster, and I think that that's something that Mike really captured beautifully in this film and that was in the script from the beginning is, every character is flawed.

Throughout the movie, audiences are gonna be kind of like, ooh, whose side am I on? Who am I rooting for? Are they justified in what they just did? Would I do the same thing? And then on top of that, there's this kind of like larger than life, godly presence of this insane huge mythical is she real is she not snake and that all of those things together just makes for such a fun ride

yeah i think for me jaws just the idea of being out in the water and and like giant snake i'm sorry giant sharks and I am not actually the strongest swimmer.

Like I would take the jungle over the ocean any day just because you can, you have something to stand
