Mark, what exactly is going on here, and why is this important?

Well, as you see behind us, we're clearing these channels, getting ready for the, uh, storm season.

This is something that we're doing throughout the whole city, not just here.

Throughout the whole city, we have crews clearing channels of debris, vegetation, anything that can cause a blockage or, and, and result in flooding.

Um, so this is something that is ongoing.

We just don't do it during the storm seasons, we do it all year long.

And how many channels like this are there around the city?

There, there's quite a few.

As far as footage, we have, uh, 1.7 million feet of storm channel.

Wow.

Well, thank you very much.

It's a great work they're doing, and we're looking forward to be prepared in advance of the rains that we think will be coming this winter.

And these same crews will be making sandbags and doing storm patrols as well.
