I Did a Damn Good Job: Kristin's Story

So I'm not working nearly as much as I used to, which I'm so grateful to have the freedom to kind of just... live my life right now I am home with the baby a lot and I work I'm in the store I work a lot uh you know at night but I'm in the store two half days and one full day every week

that makes it nice to have that flexibility to be with your child as you're raising them because it's just so difficult sending them to daycare one but also just like not being there present in their life every day all day

Yeah.

So I, the one thing I, I, I kind of realized this winter is there were no flus there, you know, there was no, there was no hand, foot and mouth, whatever, you know, happens, happens.

I, I don't have to worry about any of that stuff.

I didn't have to like, I, there's this one viral clip going around.

I don't know if you've seen it on Instagram of a mother of a new baby, just sobbing about having to leave her baby.

And I didn't have to go through any of that.

I just, I'm so, so thankful for my lifestyle right now.

And I'm just going to ride it for as long as I can.

Definitely do.

And you say about hand, foot and mouth, we have had it.

My son's been in daycare for a little over a year, but we've had it three times in the last six months.

Twice in the last

two and a half months.

I know it's rough.

I wish I didn't have to send him, but unfortunately
