Um, so I suppose really I should go back to the beginning about how it all came about.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
And, um, during that sort of process of becoming an intermediate teacher, um, I discovered there's a whole another level to teaching [laughs] that-
Absolutely
I hadn't, uh, uh, sort of previously sort of seen during my beginners sort of teaching program, and then going around to be a beginner teacher.
But when I was, you know, after I'd started taking on then the intermediate lessons, I think the biggest thing that came out of those intermediate lessons more than anything was the actual variety of levels of people in a room, and how you can do a move which appears to be a relatively simple, easier, intermediate move, and some people get it and some don't.
And then sometimes you can do a hard move, and the people you would generally expect to get it don't always get it.
Yeah.
And actually somebody you, you don't expect to necessarily get it actually gets it.
Yeah
... and that all comes down to basically cause and effect, which as a, as a, as a rock teacher you get taught all about at your, at your intermediate level.
So I kind of wanted to use that knowledge and take it a bit further to help people.
No, we don't
You know, it's just literally some tips and advice on certain key points and, and that's it, and then we move on with the move.
So yeah, I really wanted to develop something from a workshop point of view where we do have time in workshops to really talk more about cause and effect to improve both leads and follows dancing really.
