- *Am I doing enough to shape my child's character before the world does?* - *How do I raise a child of integrity when everything around them says something different?* - *What can I actually do…
So let me ask you this, are you praying your child's character as intentional as the world is trying to shape their character? I wanna share with you the four things that helped me pray godly character over my children with intention and faith, starting with I understood that character is built, not just caught.
Godly character does not develop automatically.
It is built through intentional input, consistent modeling, and faithful prayer.
Character is the sum of every small decision your child makes every time they choose right over wrong, truth over convenience, others over themselves.
Those decisions are shaped by what has been deposited in them, by what they have been taught, by what they have seen modeled around them, by what has been spoken over them in prayer by the people who love them the most The prayers you pray over your child's character, the words you speak over their integrity, their honesty, their sense of right and wrong do not disappear.
They are being collected, and it compounds over time.
Starting with you identifying a character, a quality you want to intentionally pray and speak over your child.
Remember, we're praying over our children for this whole month because there's so many areas that we can cover and discuss and really focus on prayer for our children.
When you are thinking about the intentional prayer that you wanna speak over your child, just like the last episode, you wanna pray for it.
So this is so important, and if you do not know one character that your child has that you want to pray over, I tell you, go back to the Holy Spirit and ask the Holy Spirit to give you clarity so you know what character the Lord wants you to pray for.
