Cal Thomas Commentary 10-20-26

Have you seen the pictures of the rioting throughout France? They started as a protest about overcrowded classrooms, too few teachers, and other things, but were quickly hijacked by socialists, Muslims, and others with their own agendas.

Looting of upscale shops, damage to private and government property were part of it.

Oh, and let's not forget the huge Muslim population, which is there because the French government let them in.

If you've been paying attention, their declared goal is the destruction of all countries where freedom exists and the sublimation and domination to Islam.

That isn't Islamophobia, as they like to say.

They declare their goals, and they include running for political office.

Predictably, the media are on opposite sides in describing the French riots.

The New York Times says they were started by the right wing and, quote, "mostly peaceful." That's a joke, as anyone can see.

The Wall Street Journal blames the left wing.

I'm going with the left-wing description.

Could these riots ever happen in America? You bet they can if we don't guard against their cause.

We'd better.
