I'm glad you've joined me today for Burning Hearts, the living stories of God's heart for the nations.

We've been on an exciting adventure as we share one conversation after another with brothers and sisters who are recounting for us their stories, their lived experience of hearing God speak to them, showing them specific opportunities to engage in His global mission, or showing them where their experience, background, or even just their unrestrained availability each has a specific place in God's heart for the nations.

Within Season 2, we're exploring this potent, even explosive result of even the small steps that Jesus is calling us to take with Him.

And now, this week, we get to sit down with some good friends of ours, John and Anne.

We've been sharing this journey with them for years, and in some seasons, they have been a part of our Gospel family.

Our family has walked together with them through some portions of this journey that we discuss here in Burning Hearts, of day after day seeking Jesus and asking him to show them their next steps in their part with his mission.

So I'm very eager for us to pull up our chairs around the corner of shared memory and get to know John and Ann more as they share the journey Jesus is leading them on.

And it's been exciting just kind of catching up on all that God's been doing in your lives for a while now.

you're involved in some really exciting things in terms of finding a very specific role in helping people engage with God's Heart for the Nations.

And I want to dive into that in just a couple of minutes.

But first, just to give us kind of a context, do you mind sharing with us, like, What did, for each of you, involvement in God's mission begin like for you? What was kind of the awakening for you or just hearing God say, I want you to be a part of this?
