Revelation 7

And so we see that in Genesis how God scatters the people because they had no respect or honor of who he was.

But then the Bible then turns us to the book of Revelation right at the end, and we see the same humanity, diverse people groups in different languages coming together in submission under God and one people worshiping him.

And so I want us to quickly read Revelation 7 and verse 9.

After this, this is John getting a picture of what the end will be.

After this, I looked and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping.

Secondly, we are a family that holds to what we believe.

Verse 23 says, let us hold onto the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.

For those of us who have put our trust in Christ, Revelation 7 is where our hope is, when we will be with God forever and a day, where there's peace, where there's justice, where there's joy.

Sometimes we hear of Christians saying that Jesus cannot come back until the gospel is taken to the entire world.

That's not true for the rapture.

prophetically nothing ever has needed to take place for Jesus to come back he could have come back a week after Pentecost if he wanted all kinds of prophecy needs to unfold for the second coming to take place it is significant that we're bringing the gospel and putting in people's native tongues the Bible to more and more places but really in the fullest sense this prophecy will be fulfilled during the tribulation period through Revelation 7's picture of 144,000 Jewish men preaching the gospel to people across the planet and their converts in turn, and people from every tribe, tongue, and nation who are saved.

Now, the next thing on your chart, which is new, is here you see the A of D, that's the abomination of desolation.

moving the tribulation period from tribulation to great tribulation.

This is antithetical to what Pesovic put out.

Well, I mean, yeah, that's Rev- uh, Revelation 7, where they talk about all the nation from all the tribes and the languages, et cetera.

I mean, the reason that God confused language was because people were sc- w- he was scattering a prideful people.

Framing the Tower of Babel story as some sort of evidence that God hates multiculturalism is blasphemy, because the curse was...

This is a grave sin.

And then I quoted Revelation 7, verse 9, that says, As a Christian, Believe it or not, people think, oh, you're a dirty racist.

Believe it or not, contrary to popular libtard opinion, I celebrate diversity.

I celebrate diversity on earth, but diversity spread out around the earth.

That's a wonderful thing.

But for there to be ethnic, national, racial diversity in the endgame—the life to come, heaven— That won't happen if we blend it all into a soup here and now on earth.

If we erode all distinctives of nations, all distinctives of peoples on earth, then the endgame of Revelation 7-9 will not happen.

Because Revelation 7-9 implicitly and quite obviously is being set forth as a descriptive that is positive, that's good, that's glorious to be celebrated by Christians and something even more than that, that the Lord himself celebrates, then we can, by good and necessary inference, determine as Christians theologically and biblically that this thing which God loves and has designed and that God himself is looking forward to should be preserved here and now on earth.

And all four signify together the twelve tribes of Israel, out of whom the 144,000 were sealed.

Apocalypse 7, verse 4. and the four beasts had each of them six wings two to a tribe in all twenty and four wings answering to the twenty and four stations of the people and they were full of eyes within or under their wings and they rest not day and night or at the morning and evening sacrifices

saying holy holy holy lord god almighty which was and is

and is to come these animals are therefore the seraphims which appeared to isaiah in a vision like this of the apocalypse for there also the lord sat upon a throne in the temple and the seraphims each with six wings cried
