Heidi SchmidtGuestBurn the Talking Points HostHostSo District 31 elects three delegates.
Why does electing a full Democratic team matter? And what could a stronger Democratic delegation deliver for Anne Arundel County?

You know, it really goes back to the investments in the community, you know, and you can look at looking at the budget and seeing how our delegates have voted in the past.

Like, what are you bringing back to your district? You are there to advocate not just for policies, but you're also there to advocate for your community to get the resources that it needs to be successful.

And I think having a strong Democratic delegation not only helps District 31, but also Anne Arundel County as a whole, We're still a very purple county.

But I think, again, it kind of goes back to that nothing changes if nothing changes.

Like, keep complaining about the same things and keep voting for the same people and nothing's going to change.

So, you know, and I really appreciate from our slate that we've built the diversity in District 31 for a long time has just been thought of as Pasadena.

And so because our district is so diverse, each community has such different needs.

And so having a diverse slate allows us to advocate not just for one part of the district, but the entire district.
Right.
That makes a lot of sense.
You touched on something that I think our listeners need to really be aware of.
I think that people, I don't know how many people have been keeping up with Anne Arundel County.
