The scary part is, and this goes for any state, when that expertise does not exist, politicians tend to just make it up as they go, come up with something.

Or whoever happens to show up at the committee meeting that day and give testimony is who they listen to.

And a lot of times they have friends back home in their districts where they will make a phone call and and say, hey, tell me about this industry and what's the right thing to do here.

But I'm glad I have a front row seat and get to be a mouthpiece for the industry in that capacity.
