Well, that didn't last long.

Welcome back to Brian's Beat, Saturday afternoon.

No kings, rallies going on nationwide and even in the backyard.

But be that as it may, there's something else that's been going on.

I first found out about it by reading in the Boston Herald more than a week ago.

In fact, I made a post.

You may have seen it on my Facebook wall where I asked a question about transgender.

I got to be careful how I say this because I want it.

I don't want to confuse the man who has turned women or claims to have turned women transgender.

being housed in a female jail.

And I asked for responses, and I did the reverse.

The woman who claims to be a man housed at, call it Walpole, when you see the junction, and how that would work out.

Well, a week ago yesterday, there was an actual protest outside of MCI Framingham.

And if you're not familiar with MCI Framingham, that is the women's colony here in the Commonwealth.

I think it's the only one.

And there were groups of people.

Overwhelming majority of women complaining about trans men being housed at MCI Framingham.

And more to that point, they could not get any information from the Department of Corrections about how many trans men happened to be at MCI Framingham.

And so...

They had that meeting.

We had other things that we were bringing up last week.

But I read another story in the Herald.

And then I reached out to a couple of folks that were involved in the rally at MCI Framingham.

And I received a call from Beth Kurth.

She happens to be the Massachusetts coordinator for the group Democrats for an informed approach to gender.
