Breaking 80 Over 50 A Golf Improvement Journey
Oct 4, 2026 · 3 min · 4 segments
Hi, thanks for checking out Breaking 80 over 50, if you are new here, this trailer is a great place to start. It will give you a quick run down in about three minutes on what you are likely to find in…
It has been quite a journey, and I decided to start this podcast to share it with you.
Every week, I update how I'm doing.
Some weeks I feel like I'm making progress.
Other weeks leave me feeling lost and wondering how I can still hit that many bad shots in a single round of golf.
I've shared my take on lessons, training aids, used golf balls.
I've done interviews with people that I find interesting and that I think can help us to be better on the golf course.
I'll talk about putting, my struggles from the bunkers, chipping, and the mental side of the game, and the importance of course management.
I've developed a healthy YouTube golf addiction, so you will definitely hear me talk about Bob Does Sports, Grant Horvat, The Bryan Brothers, and many others.
Not surprisingly, the PGA and LIV find their way into my thoughts, along with interesting articles that I come across.
And I hope I share how thankful I am to have found golf.
It has created opportunities for me to make new friends, share experiences with my son, get out on the weekend and get some fresh air and beautiful surroundings, and allows me to compete each and every week, me against the course.
And finally, it has given me the opportunity to do this podcast, which honestly, I'm still figuring out, but it's been fun, and I've made some new friends along the way.
I love hearing from others who listen to the show.
So where are you in your journey? Whether you are just starting out and trying to break 100 for the first time or are regularly putting up rounds in the 70s, I hope there's something here for you.
