We're really excited about our team, and to be honest, we were kind of prepared for it with the blend of kids that we have coming back.

We had a few, you know, a couple tough losses, you know, in the first 16 games, and it seems to be piling up really quick.

It seems like yesterday we kind of had a call-out meeting back in April, and the summer stuff kind of went quick, and then as soon as the season hits, we all know how that goes.

for 12 games and then all of a sudden boom boom boom and it's a little bit different for me you know coaching wise coming from you know the basketball background you play friday night and then you have you know five days of practice worth to prepare and then uh yeah with this we played four games in the first four eligible games of the ihsa schedule so that was a challenge for us And we came out of those first four 3-1, capped off with a big win at Sullivan that I thought we played one of our best games at, winning in five in another tiebreaker similar to tonight.

We got some not much downtime, played the last two nights, had a couple wins, a couple conference wins, which are huge.

Like you just said, back-to-back games, you could have two and three games in a week.

And I'm assuming that keeping everybody healthy and injury-free can be difficult at times.

And you know how we were when we were 16, 17, 18-year-old kids and We try to talk to them about it, about, you know, taking care of their bodies and eating correctly and getting enough sleep.

And then kind of sandwiched in the middle of all that activity, we have, you know, a long road trip against a good team.
