Ian Stirsman: Remus Lou Gehrig Reserve

I've known Ian for a minute or two.

He's always a good conversation.

Such a wealth of knowledge on all things whiskey.

And him and I are going to do a deep dive on Ross and Squibb.

He walks me through how the brand got started.

We go through the history of the brand.

We go through the iterations, where it started, where it went, where it got to, where it is.

We go through every iteration of the history of the brand all the way up until where Ian takes the master distiller chair and he walks me through his whiskey journey.

how he has sat under the learning tree of some of the greats in modern whiskey and how it has led him to Remus, to Ross and Squibb, to the Lou Gehrig Reserve.

And then what do we do, guys, on this show when we're talking to good people about good whiskey? we drink it you're damn right we do and that is what we do today we pop the top on the remus lou gehrig reserve and he walks me through the meticulous efforts that went into crafting this year's reserve offering the first offering was of course the babe ruth reserve and now we've got the lou gehrig reserve He walks me through how he got it to where he wanted it to be, how he has crafted this expression to honor Lou Gehrig.

And then we drink it, guys.

I'm going to be on the main stage talking on the 13th.

Everything she's doing on stage is just so freaking awesome, and it was great to see my buddy and catch up and be able to see how awesome she has become.

She's always been good, but she's really upped her game, and she's just in that next echelon right now.

And it's fun to see her enjoying the success that she's having.
