Bob Luman

Bob, what about the country music? It's

very hard to tell now.

Everybody's cutting, like I say, the middle-of-the-road

stuff.

You've got guys like John Denver and Olivia Newton-John, which there was a lot of controversy about that during last year's DJ convention.

But that had nothing to do, I think, with our people.

Disc jockeys were playing the record, and the fans were requesting those songs.

And really nobody had any gripes coming.

If she got it, she deserved it.

And I think it's the same way with Glen Campbell.

I think a Glen Campbell song, if it deserves being played on the country station as well as on the pop station or the religious station or rhythm and blues station, it'll be played on there because the people are going to ask for it.
