Thank you for having me.

We are so excited to get into your story and hear all about the ups and downs throughout pregnancy.

But we will get started by, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself and your son and where y'all are from?
Yep.
So my name is Keara.
My son, he is three.

So talk us through finding out you were pregnant with Quran and then that early pregnancy journey.
Yes.
So I actually found out that I was pregnant on April 13th, which at the time had no significance, but my son was born on December 13th.
So I was like, "Oh, like, 13 is our number." So I was like re- like once, you know, the, like, the Snapchat memories come back on your phone, you're just like, "Oh, wow, like, I found out on this day." Um, so yeah.
So I found out I was pregnant April 13th, right after my birthday, 'cause my birthday's April 4th.
And honestly, like, super shocked, one.
Two, I'm just like, man, like, I panicked, 'cause I always said I wanted to be a lawyer before a mom, um, which obviously these little babies, they don't care.
Like, [chuckles] they do not care.
But I was very disappointed to be honest, and I said I never wanted to have kids in my 20s.
I wanted to wait 'til I was in my 30s, and I was 28 when I found out I was pregnant.
Um, so I'm just like, "Okay, you know, cool.
Here we are.
Rolling with the punches." And I started having, like, some pain in my back, and my OB at the time, like, I would call his office and I'm like, "You know, I'm not feeling too good," you know, yada, yada, whatever.
Of course.
