If we allow ourselves to slow down enough, I think that's why I use this acronym of busy, the burden under Satan joke.

And one of my favorite books was The Relentless Pursuit of Hurry by John Mark Comer.

It's all to me as far as an ecosystem that I just continue to try to lay down and what to pick up.
And so it's funny, I've been doing this for 10 years and it took me about that long to come up with that line.
I play music, I write books, but my heart is for, like you said, the people who are striving their way to joylessness, right? and who get to their own finish line and are wondering, why? Where did I lose my way in terms of this gift God is giving me has now turned into, I'm now a slave to it.
And so in music school, it's, really hard to think beyond the goal seeking and the, you know, you get this degree and you take this exam and you win a job.
And I think it's true that way in many artistic disciplines and beyond the arts, right? Like you said, it's this almost the American way that we're pursuit, pursuit, pursuit
And so the real work of art that all these artists are pursuing this excellence and this beauty, that's something that I'm never going to convince an artist not to pursue because we've heard the sounds that we want to reproduce in our head.
