Week 1 Preview + Alvarez Transfer Saga

Um, guys, I want to start off with, um, the newly promoted sides and also the champions of the Premier League, um, Arsenal.

A three-nil dominant win.

Uh, sort of a different scheme Arteta came with from what Arsenal usually play, which was, in my opinion, as much as I do have this thing for Arsenal, was pretty enjoyable.

From a, a tactical standpoint, what did you guys think of the game from, um, Arsenal's standpoint and also even Coventry as well? Yeah.

So I think Arsenal has shown that once again they are ready to win the Premier League.

We should not be shocked if they do a back-to-back, to be very honest.

And the type of football they played against Coventry was kind of like a glimpse of what we saw in, I think, the '23, '24 season and even the '24, '25 at the beginning of the season.

We kind of saw that they wanted to attack.

This time they were not trying to play the haram type of football.

This time they were trying to attack.

They were trying to get the goals.

I think we'll see more of this type of Arsenal this season because now they are quite confident coming off the Premier League win.

Okay.

And Aram, I want to hear, like, your standpoint on sort of like an, uh, sort of like a dominant win coming from, uh, such a beautiful performance from Arsenal's new signing, Christoph Soulès, and also just a quite disappointing debut from Frank Lampard's side.

I wanna hear your thoughts on it.

Um, so I think, um, Arsenal did play very well.

I was quite impressed with how they were moving, their free, free flow attacking football.

I think we saw, we saw that in the '22, '23 season where, um, I think Ødegaard had one of his best seasons as, as an Arsenal player.

And I think it's, it's quite, it's quite, um, concerning for the, the big boys in the league 'cause now Ars- Arsenal has the confidence.

They do have the trophy to back it and also, um, I think they are, they are in to, to, to show the people why they are the champs.

And I think Frank Lampard, um...

It's, it's no surprise that we saw Frank struggle against Mikel because I think Frank's spell in the Prem has not been that great.

I think when he took over, um, when he took over as manager at Chelsea, it was quite an interesting way he did set up.

He had his own philosophies and all that.

I think Frank is a very good coach.
