And I talked about last week how that is Jesus for one, for sure, and Soren for two.

And we have to talk about the Corsair event because it was so fundal- fundamental with his rupture in Copenhagen society.

You know, there's, there's themes in his life.

Uh, he worked for the welfare of a whole generation and was rewarded with the curses of a whole generation.

In the torments of spiritual trial, he had to, uh, gain understanding of his own life and then day after day had to work laboriously through all misunderstandings of his contemporaries.

And, you know, Soren was a good student in school.

He was a great student in school, but he wasn't top of the top of the top and, you know, I think it was surprising that he, um, he wound up having such an impact as a writer.

Uh, the torments of spiritual trial, he had to gain an understanding of his own life and then day after day had to work laboriously through all the misunderstandings of his contemporaries and through all the torments of those misunderstandings.

Then you both died and you were equally blessed.

So he's talking about the guy that had a chill life and a wife that loved him and had work that he loved compared to a person that was on the outs.

And if you read Hebrews 11, it, it talks about faith, and I, I've said this before, I've probably said it here, is Hebrews 11 has, has people escaping the mouth of lions, but also getting s- um, sawn in two.

And so it's not necessarily what happens to the person that really, uh, determines God's purpose for them.

You know, good or bad, it's...

Good or bad's not really the issue, it's whether they did God's will or not, you know, whether they died violently or were able to escape the sword or whatever.

It's just God, God's will.

God has purposes sometimes.

You can't, you can't judge it by the faithfulness based on what happened necessarily.

It's, it's the truth as of what God is in, in it.

Now remember Peter, his older brother, didn't s- really understand Soren either.

I don't think his dad did.

I think his dad appreciated Soren's genius, but I'm sure that dad was frustrated by Soren's lack of stick-to-it-iveness and took 10 years for him to get his degree and didn't complete his, um, his degree in college until his dad had passed away.

He got more serious.

Then you both died and you are equally blessed.
