Why did you recreate Captain Hardcase instead of giving the new bodies new personalities?
We already had the whole simulated backstory and transitional experiences of Captain Hardcase saved.
It's a lot easier to use what we have on hand instead of starting from scratch.
Because things worked out so well for Hardcase last time?
That's why we added the detective Hardcase personality.
Captain Hardcase had a hard time dealing with the impotence of his life in Sacramento in what to him was the distant past.
So we combined him with Detective Hardcase, who's used to petty jobs and comes from a time that makes us feel advanced.
