Today, we're talking about peptides, and this is a topic we're super excited about.

We have been offering it here at the clinic for a while now, and so we're just going to give you a little schooling on what peptides are and how they work.

Um, and, and people are kind of like, is it a good thing or is it a bad thing? It like everything is both.

Um, the way that peptides can be a bad thing is, um, first there's a lot of availability as there is for just about anything these days where you can just diagnose yourself, get whatever you need and take it from there.

Um, if you don't feel good, if you're trying to figure out a solution to a problem, um, please make sure you have the problem correctly defined.

So I, what we would first say about peptides to make sure that they're safe and to make sure that you first do no harm to yourself is to do so under physician guidance, do so under a medical provider and medical clinic that you trust.

Don't just find any place that you can online, have them ship you something that you're going to inject in yourself and start injecting.

And then the other thing that can be a problem is there's a lot of places to source the peptides from on the internet.

And unfortunately, I think big pharma is giving compounding pharmacies a bad rap because compounding pharmacies make things that are possibly competitors to pharma.

And so the pharmaceutical companies will be like, oh, the compounding pharmacy, like that means it's a horrible thing.

And we've been relying on compounding pharmacies to make things for us for a very long time.

A lot of our local pharmacies will make their own stuff in-house and compound it.
