We were trying to answer the question about in infants under two, how effective and safe are topical treatments for eczema? And just a note on that, so, um, we're, we're using the term eczema throughout this tool, but, um, more specifically, the evidence that we looked at is, uh, primarily looking at atopic dermatitis.

Um, but, but in the tool, we, we use the more general kind of broad term of eczema.
We've already talked a little bit, uh, we had a previous, uh, podcast and tool on, on bathing, and we'll talk about that in a little bit.
S- s- yeah, so what, what sort of evidence did you find? Because there, there is a, there's a fair amount of evidence that looks at this.

So, um, important to note, there's, there was less evidence than we actually were expecting in this age group, the under two.

So first of all, we kind of s- we started off by looking at, well, what's the evidence for topical corticosteroids? Because that's, that's the first thing that we usually think about in terms of treating eczema.

Um, but we found that there were no randomized control trials comparing topical corticosteroids to placebo, um, or to vehicle in this age group of the under twos.
