In this episode, I talk with Barbara Reguero about her transition from working on Wall Street for 23 years to owning a Maid Right franchise with Premium Service Brands. Barbara shares her story about…
Let's talk about marketing a little bit.
And one of the things that Premium Service Brands does is provide these marketing playbooks for you.
How has that been helpful for you to kind of grow your business and expand your outreach to customers in your area?
So last year I did the local marketing playbook and it was pretty rigid in the sense that they gave you a set of tasks to do every day or every week.
And then we had like a weekly call to sort of be accountable and see where we were on fulfilling those tasks.
And, you know, there was some pretty great advice in there that I took and did.
So one of the things was, you know, like call five real estate brokers in your market and set up you know, time to meet them for coffee or drop by the local real estate office with a box of donuts and, you know, give your card and say that you're really looking for business in this area and you would love to do, you know, their move in and move out cleans or their cleans that brokers typically need to get homes ready for sale.
I was in a local business around the corner and they were celebrating like one year opening or something.
thing.
And I went in and I said to the girl, because again, I wouldn't have done this except the local marketing playbook said, you know, go take pictures of yourself at local businesses.
And I say to the girl at the shop, hey, I'll stand under this balloon arch, you know, take a picture of me with my phone and I'll post it on social media.
It was just so pretty, you know, but everybody was like, I was like my post for me, right.
Was like, I'm here celebrating the anniversary of, you know, this drink shop and down the street and like 350 people like liked it or shared it or posted it.
So that kind of training is helpful because like, I have to tell you, I had, you know, owned the business for like eight years at that point.
And it would never, without going to the local marketing workshop or playbook, it would never occur to me to like go out to local businesses and post them on my page and kind of build that rapport and get that support.
But, you know, everybody is like coming back to the made right page and they're liking my post.
