A Court of Thorns and Roses Theories

In chapter two, the cottage that Farrah's family lives in has what's called ward marks, like W A R D etched into the threshold.

Um, and it said that her dad paid a passing charlatan to do it for them.

And I just think that that is suspicious because it's giving word marks, W Y R D from Throne of Glass.

And there's the bigger theory that their mom, meaning Mama Archeron was Fae of some sort, which I will back up later on.

When Nesta and Elaine are introduced, I just thought it was funny because it says it wasn't that Elaine was cruel.

She wasn't like Nesta who had been born with a sneer on her face.

Elaine sometimes just didn't grasp things.

And I thought that was wild to be like, yeah, she just kind of She doesn't really grasp things.

I don't know.

That's Elaine.

To just like immediately dismiss her is so interesting with what we know happens later and what powers Elaine has later.

I just thought that was very interesting.

There's a part that it mentions that whenever the weather changes, it bothers their dad's knee.

And I just thought that it reminded me of Rhysand when he was like, yeah, whenever it rains, I get a twinge in my knee.

I just thought that was like a funny... coincidence? Like Reese is really just a 500 year old, old man.

Like he's just an old man.

So back to, I'm going to keep coming back to this theory that their mom was some, some kind of being, I don't think that their mom was fully human, quite honestly.

If Spoilers for the rest of the ACOTAR series, because I want to say some things, because we know what happens later, but I also don't want to super spoil things, but also I gave the warning.

So we know that Elaine and Nesta were able to go into the cauldron and come out pretty much unscathed, in the sense that they weren't changed other than from human to fae, and they were able to survive being put into the cauldron.

Now, I feel like I'm going to keep coming back to this because there's several things throughout, but just bear with me here.

So Feyre and her sisters sleep in an ironwood bed, which I've seen some people try to connect to Throne of Glass in some way and the Iron Teeth Witches.

I've seen a theory that maybe Mama Archeron was an Iron Teeth Witch.

Kinda could believe that Nesta's an iron teeth witch.

Again, these are things that we're going to be getting into.
