Love Never Fails | Choose God’s Love To Overcome Envy and Strife 10/1

We're talking about love, the God kind of love that's inside you if you're born again.

We're doing an overall study on the fruit of the Spirit.

And so far, we're to the first fruit, love.

And we're going to spend some time on love and have spent some time on it because really, None of the other fruit of the Spirit will be in manifestation to any great degree without love because it takes love to undergird.

Love is the foundation.

Love is the nature of God.

The Scripture doesn't say that God is power.

It says God is love.

And when you were born of God, you were born of love and the love of God is your nature.

That nature of God that was imparted to you is love.

And so what do we have to do after we get born again? We begin to learn how to walk in love.

Really, it's not a mental thing as much as it is...

You have to understand it.

You have to understand it in your mind to know what love is.

And the Bible clearly teaches us exactly what the God kind of love is.

But it is a yielding to the force of love that's in you.

That love is in you.

And we study that if we'll stay in living contact with God, spend time with the Lord in prayer and in the Word, that the forces of life will flow out of us.

There'll be life and health to our flesh.

There'll be an influence to the people around us and in our circumstances, the fruit of the Spirit.

Each one has a job to do.

They're all for our benefit.

It's to your great advantage to walk in love.

It's to your great advantage to have the peace of God flowing out of you and in command of your life.

It's to your great advantage to have the joy of the Lord coming out of you.
