You talk a lot about worth, and I think we see this in the clients we deal with all the time.

How have you come to that realization for yourself, I guess, to know that your worth doesn't fluctuate?

Well, someone told me once, they asked me if I had ever held a newborn baby in my arms.

And they asked me, what makes that baby worthy of love? It's not done anything to deserve or to earn your love.

And so this person, and it was you, said, how are you any different? And I realized that it wasn't.

And I know that that's the way God sees me and you and each and every one of us.

There is no distance we can go that if we're willing, we can't get back to the arms of our Heavenly Father.

You know, when I was introducing you, when we talk about you've been through addiction, domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, heartbreak, profound loss.

I mean, if there's ever anything coming at you to try to affect your worth, you went through it, right? And it's understandable when someone is going through all of that to go, yeah, I must be nothing.

Well, it was easy to believe because I didn't have anyone that cared about me that loved me.
