And you might be thinking, well, why would Allah give or what is the wisdom behind him giving permission to those people? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does not give permission for people to oppress and wrong others or to claim a superiority complex above others.
If Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives the permission of authority or power for certain people, know that this is the ultimate test and trial for them.
And if he knows that they're going to fail in it, then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has made it a punishment for them.
Anyone who tries to compete with Allah in the authority and power in a way that he has not permitted them to use it for is the greatest, one of the major sins and can even lead to what we call shirk, which is the most major of all sins.
The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said that Allah says in Hadith al-Qudsi, Allah says, pride is my robe.
Pride here means that the only one worthy of really calling himself the most proud and the pride is Allah.
Because what is pride? Pride is having the qualities of everything above everyone else in every shape and form.
So when you look at somebody or you feel that they overpowered you or they have authority over you, do not think of them as anyone who has special powers or godliness of any sort.
