I guess we probably need to start with just a very brief...
So Damian, w- uh, what, to you, what is Behind the Bolter gonna be? What are we gonna give people when they join, they join in?
I think it's really important to state that we're just a, we're just gonna keep this really casual, and I think the best, um, term that we came up with is, like, hobby positive.
Um, you know, if you're after the salt, you're not gonna get it from us.
Um, that's not to say that we won't, you know, talk about things that we don't like or anything like that, but we're not that hypercompetitive.
We're not gonna be worried about too many, like, rule changes and how that affects our armies.
I mean, obviously we might c- talk about that a little bit, you know, if we're a bit-
Maybe a little bit here and there
... bit pointed, but-
We're still gamers
... we're not, we're not gonna be at the cutting edge of changes and things [laughs] like that.
No, I think that's, that's it.
I mean, I always, I always look, I guess I want this po- uh, I guess, podcast to reflect how me and you play games, which is basically we bring l- lists that have a little bit of teeth, but there's always an element of narrative and fun to it.
And there's always far too much nonsense being talked at the table.
Dice rolls are way too slow, especially on my side.
Um, [laughs] but-
[laughs]
'Cause that's how we enjoy playing, and I think that's the, I think that's, for me, that's when Warhammer's at its best, when it's like, it can be casual, yes, I mean, you know, it can be casual, but yes, you can wanna win.
There is that happy medium of...
I, I like to say, like, the average Joe, the, the regular punter is what I like to call it, where in that space of not the competitive.
We're the weekend warriors of, of 40K.
[laughs]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right.
The, the, talking about, you know, model releases or changes or exciting, um, things that are coming up, things that we're excited about, things that we've liked doing or playing or engaging with in the hobby.
