Let's Party Like It's 1999!

Number one, shopping malls.

I loved going to the mall.

My family, we grew up mostly going to Superstition Springs Mall, which is in Mesa, Arizona.

They had a carousel, they had a giant gumball machine, and they had a fabulous toy store, which my mom often would remind us we're going in to look, not to buy.

And there's lots of pictures of us growing up riding the carousel at the mall and just like playing around throughout the mall.

I think, you know, in Arizona, a lot of the year is very hot.

And before we were all in school and she had... four kids under the age of five.

The easiest thing to do was throw us in the car and let us walk around the air-conditioned mall.

So, I spent a lot of time growing up at the mall.

There was a friend of mine when we were in, like, I think eighth grade.

My mom would take us to the mall and we would kind of get to walk around, go shopping.

She was one of the first people that really introduced me to like American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister.

And so I would spend my babysitting money with her out at the mall.

And at that point, at that age, we were going to like the Chandler Fashion Center.

square or fashion center I forget exactly the name of it but fashion malls a fabulous part of the 1990s number two choker necklaces which I still wear to this day I still even have a couple of the like traditional kind of like woven black stretchy material chokers.

I just think they're so cute.

I think they're very flattering on me and eye-catching and it's a fun way to accessorize.

That is definitely a trend for me that I loved and that has still not died for me.

Number three and something I still love, Lisa Frank.

What I would give to own an original Lisa Frank painting or drawing, I would die.

I would have to get security and insurance to make sure nothing bad ever happened to it.

But I would love to own one.

I especially loved like the painting Panda Bear was my favorite.

I loved the dolphins.

I Uh, the aliens riding in the convertible through outer space.
