So this is something that was on my mind this week, and I thought maybe I should do a podcast on it, so here I am basically talking about the cost of being ignored.

So anyways, I've been thinking a lot lately about being ignored, and not by strangers, not by sales calls, but by people who know you, people who have your number, people who saw the message, people who could respond with five words but chose not to.

Um, and one thing I've noticed about myself is that I like to close loops, and if there's a misunderstanding, like, let's talk about it.

And so this has always been a big deal with me because I answer people, and I'm not talking annoying salespeople.

I'm talking about people that I know, and I know things can fall through the cracks on accidentally or whatever.

But I'm talking about more like patterns with people that just don't respond and think that it's okay.

Okay, so they did this experiment, and they took three different, um, containers and put rice in them with water.

And on one of them, they put all positive words around the container, like they wrote them on the outside of the container, and then they also, like, spoke positivity and positive words to it.

On another, they wrote all, like, swear, vile words on it and like, you know, talk to it like abuse, abusingly.

And after several weeks, they noticed that the, the rice that was talked to lovingly was thriving and doing well, and the one that was cursed basically, like, had gotten moldy and green and black.

But our bodies are made of, like, 70% water, and it just shows, like, how thoughts can impact water, and it's true.
