It has started to set in, you know, like I think, so here in the Northeast, we're in a Nor'easter.
Um, it's, it's kind of, it's hitting hard, man.
And like last week we had a lot of rain too.
So, um, Had like the front come through at first and then we just had like perfect, perfect running weather.
It was like 50 degrees and clear as a bell.
Just like, you know, classic, classic fall in the Northeast feeling like cross country season.
Yeah,
you get that.
You get that little, I guess, fitness boost from the changing weather and everything like that.
So yeah, it's been pretty perfect outside of this storm that you get the added water log.
And, you know, we were Chris and I were supposed to get out for a run long run yesterday morning.
We're kind of had loose, loose thoughts about going out.
I heard the winds in the middle of the night and I was like, no effing chance.
We're going out in this like this is this is nuts.
Like I'm I'm going to get.
clobbered by a falling tree and uh but chris braved it he was out there six o'clock in the morning
you know i think it was my only option yesterday but but i'll tell you this morning was worse than yesterday
i didn't go out this morning
this morning this morning at the winds were like driving it was like what are the situations where the the the rain was just just such and the winds were at the perfect strength to like it's like you're getting shot in the face by like little bb's like every piece like every raindrop is is like piercing and i was like ah geez man um it's like i mean definitely invigorating but i want to i want to circle back to the boost you get after like the, the, the hot, humid weather of the Northeast.
And like, you're, you know, you're adapted to the, to the heat and the humidity.
And like that first, like crisp morning run is like the best feeling in the world.
Um, so I'll, I'll be honest with you.
I was sort of longing for, like a damp like a damp you know northeast fall early fall day so i actually didn't i didn't mind running though like the last two days were sort of fun now i was just on the roads um so like i wasn't like i didn't have to be you know i wasn't too concerned with like slipping on on mud or things that nature but um yeah man it like it's it's been fun with this this sort of this fall weather the nor'easter nor nor you know nor'easter of course adding a little bit uh a little bit of rougher conditions, but it's been fun getting back into it.
And, um, definitely looking forward to, you know, some racing we both have in the fall and picking up on following the racing scene, uh, you know, in, in general.
So yeah, man, looking forward to it.
