"Stuck here on purpose" OBX Life

So how did we get here? We got a few lifers.

Tim Cafferty was just on.

I think he said his dad moved here in 1964.

Chris Feldhausen, who's prominent attorney here in the Outer Banks.

His parents grew up here.

He's from Virginia Beach, but he came down almost every summer.

So it's not a lifer, but pretty darn close to it.

And I should say old Chris isn't an attorney anymore.

He is his honor.

You got to address him a little bit differently.

He is transferred into being a judge here in the First Judicial District.

What an awesome accomplishment, but awesome for the community.

Chris is probably one of the fairest attorneys.

Not probably.

He is.

He's just, he's going to be an awesome judge.

I'm excited about that stage of his career.

We heard from Nick Graham.

Speaking of attorneys, Nick's Father John helped me along when I first started out as an attorney here on the Outer Banks.

Nick is in the insurance business.

He grew up right around the corner of my kids in Chickahawk.

So he's a lifer.

And also, of course, Quentin Turco, the epitome of the Outer Banks outdoorsman.

He's grown up here.

I think he grew up in the ocean, actually.
