Our firing line debate this week is, should new FAC holders be restricted to certain calibers? Now, Sarah, 100%, I saw this is up your street.
I think give them a 30 count and see what's going to happen.
Let them loose.
Let them go.
I do think there should be some restrictions, which everyone's going to come at me and hate me for.
But I think if you're, I mean, you can get a license new into shooting, can't you? You don't have to have had experience necessarily.
You know, I could put an application today to apply for a 2-2 and a 2-4-3 because I've just decided I want to get into it.
I've always said there should be more training around it, which isn't law.
At the moment.
So I think if there isn't a training element of it, there needs to be something in place, doesn't there? You know, shooting a rabbit with a 2-2 is a bit different to taking a 2-4-3 out to shooting a deer.
Although a lot of licenses now, if you wanted to apply for a 2-4-3 or a 6-5, often what you then get is if you put down that obviously you're not going to shoot it at range, you were going to go and shoot deer, you might have a permission.
They often say mentored.
So you do...
We don't get that, no.
Maybe it's just...
I know what post this is, Sarah.
It's from Dog and Field.

Okay,
no, fine.
I take it back.
We'll let them off.
Man will knock at the door.
Shall I pause for a second? Goodbye, people.
