Embodying Honor, Commitment, and Courage with Meera Amin The values that sustain us through life's greatest challenges often become the foundation upon which we build our character, leadership, and…
Meera AminGuestDhwaniHostMira, you've shared such great ideas.
And you know, one thing that I get, one thing I think about is this idea of s- um, spirituality, right? It shifts this focus from, what do I want, to who must I become to live the life that I desire.
What are your thoughts about that?

To me, it's about using this life to, to have the opportunity to discover our true self as the beautiful, love, and life that we all are.

But unless we know our true identity, that's our true identity, and that's something we all have in common, um, then we're not able to live our best life.

So really, to, to live your best life, you live out your values, like you mentioned.

So when you find yourself in situations, whether it's at home or work or out even with strangers in public or, you know, community, et cetera, being able to live out your values gives you even more insight into your true self because it gives you a sense of meaning and purpose, and, and, and draws you and draws others, and you come together for that common purpose.

Like, if you stand up for something that's right at work when no one else had the courage to, and somebody sees that, and they're like, "You know, I saw that, and I knew that was wrong, too," now you rally again, and you build strength.

And someone else comes and like, "Yeah, I, you know, I, I agree with that," and but nobody had the courage to say it.

And what happens? You don't, you're not doing it for yourself to just make it better for yourself, or that would be a private conversation.

But you, when you have the courage to say it in the room, and it's really the elephant, but nobody's saying it-
Yeah

... that's when you feel like, "Oh, I discovered my, like, I'm living my best life, and I'm helping others live their best life," because you just stood up for your values, and guess what? You're not the only one who shares that value of dharma, righteousness, truth, you know, living, living out your truth and, and standing up for what's right.
I just wanna thank you so much for sharing these stories 'cause I've learned so much just talking to you, and I know our listeners and viewers have learned so much and gained so much insight just listening to your story and how you were inspired to do, pursue these paths that were driven by a purpose that was greater than yourself.
