But there's certainly times, you know, I sit down and eat a sandwich and throw down a couple rods and see what's going on, especially during that bug hatch time frame.
You can certainly locate some fish that way or concentrations of fish and then go back and cast on them if they're not biting trolling.
Typically that smaller stuff, you know, anywhere from four to seven inch crankbaits seem to be working best on the bodies of water that I'm fishing.
I typically fish, you know, more panfish style fisheries than Cisco water just because that's kind of what I grew up doing.
But yeah, certainly trolling is a good option when things are not working out casting or clients need a break from casting and sit down and eat a sandwich and pick up a couple extra fish for sure.

Let's talk a little bit about water temperatures.
Cause I don't think we can have conversations about muskies without talking about water temperatures.
And I guess I would say early season, it looked like things were going to heat up kind of quick.
And then it really, really stalled out through most or all of June.
I mean, I would think we can all agree that June, if you were, if you wanted to fish, it was perfect weather to fish.
I spent a lot of time at baseball diamonds, excellent weather for, for being at a baseball diamond.
Um, but not so much if you wanted to be in the water, and that's all going to change right now.
What kind of water temperatures are you dealing with right now? Are you more mid-60s, or what are you looking at?
It was like 68, 69 degrees, and I'm sure it's just gone up from there, lower 70s on most bodies of water.
The real big stuff, I'm sure, is still sitting around that 67, 68-degree water temperature range.
