Of camps.

It's time for Wisconsin Life.

This summer, Wisconsin opened its first certified forest bathing trail in Vilas County.

Forest bathing is the practice of getting immersed in nature to improve well-being.

WPR's Danielle Kading traveled to Eagle River to see what it's all about.

He fishes out of Rhinelander and even gets up to Vilas County quite a bit, moves around and he's been contacting fish too.

So we'll try to get ahold of him.

I was in northern Wisconsin chopping wood and piling it and doing all the fun stuff.

Oh, do you have property up there? We do, up in Vilas County.

All right, so you're preparing for the fall and the winter?

Yeah, you can start to feel it.

So do you get out of your local area a whole lot fishing? I mean, have you spent much time up by Manaqua, Hayward, stuff like that?

yeah uh so actually i i've gone up to to saint germain area by vilas county uh i go up twice a year.

I've been going up since I was, since I was born.

Um, and you know, as I got older and got, you know, more into the fishing, I, uh,
