**Description:** What if your body has been giving you the answers all along? In this New Moon episode of *Ayurveda Digested*, Nicholas and Bridge explore one of the most empowering ideas in…
whatever.
oh my goodness um it is the new moon and that's actually tonight we're recording this just a little bit before and so it is just peak summer so we've just passed so uh last we talked to you you were in june gloom are you are you past it or are you still kind of
it's it it's so typical every year so june is like kind of, like, super CAFA-ish for us.
This is how I experience it.
It's basically Pitta the entire year.
It's Pata Pitta the entire year.
And then you hit like June.
I mean, you have like a little bit of cold days, but it's really not that cold.
I mean, our cold is like 70 degrees, 60 maybe.
And then it goes like that kapha, the June gloom is in June, sometimes in May too.
And then boom, it gets like super, super, super hot.
right now so like today it's gonna probably reach 100 it'll be 105 i think the next day and the day after that so You can do it.
Meanwhile, we had a heat wave last week and that just broke and now it's kind of coolish outside, but we still got decent humidity.
So that's interesting.
Yeah.
And so for people who aren't familiar with the, you know, Southwest United States, it's really mostly desert.
But the ocean is so cold because of the continental shelf out there that their weather is just deeply impacted by the cold condensation coming off the ocean and then it collecting over the drier areas of the U.S. And then it's blocked by mountains.
So there's areas of California that are much more water ridden than others.
But it's an interesting mix of doshas.
It is.
It really is.
It's very interesting.
But it's mostly hot.
Where I am, it's hot and dry.
whatever.
