And the way I wanna start today is this: How does this seeking come around? How do we get into this seeking? Because everyone is looking for something, right? And it can be found in different places.

Um, but I think what I found is that most people get into the seeking for spiritual awakening or enlightenment or whichever way you wanna call it because of the suffering.

It may be a little bit of curiosity, but that doesn't go so much as having some bad experiences or horrible states.

And it's usually not for the truth or enlightenment or anything other than how to stop suffering, how to fix the situation, how to not feel these unwanted feelings.

And when there is this non-duality idea or awakening, uh, is being shared and talked about, it seems like, oh, here's an exit.

This is, this is what I need to get in order to avoid these uncomfortable feelings or these uncomfortable situations that keep repeating themselves.

So the seeking starts from trying to fix or trying to avoid, trying to get rid of something unwanted.

And the funny thing is, it seems like from that place that once I get awakened or once I get to know the truth of what I am, or once I get whatever the mind is saying you're gonna get, then the suffering will stop, or everything will be accepted, and everything will be allowed to be as it is.

That kind of a story is a little bit strange because literally what it is saying is this: If I realize that I'm not in control of weather, then the rain will no longer come.

If I know that there is no self, then the suffering or unwanted emotions or unpleasant situations will no longer come.

The truth is that once the recognition happens, it happens on a deeper level than the mind.

It's a recognition of silence or spaciousness, openness that has always have been here, like sky.

But the, the movement of the clouds in the sky may create sometimes an illusion that the sky is covered with clouds.

And the biggest one of them, mostly, that we all have, is this feeling of being not good enough.
