*Are you constantly setting high goals and hustling to reach them, only to feel exhausted and unfulfilled once you arrive?* *Do you wear the "mask" of success while feeling internally depleted and…
Megan CaldwellGuestTwo things in particular that I want to talk about with this is one is success and what that looks like to us and what is real success.
And two, you found me or I found you in the middle of a transition that was very much teetering on the line of burnout.
And to walk through what we feel like success looks like without the burnout and the hustle and Can you bridge that gap? Because I think that's one of the hardest things for entrepreneurs, especially in business owners, when we are really trying to get out there and do the measurements, do the metrics, look at what's working and what's not and measuring that success.
I want you to talk to that because I think that you carry a perspective of that that would be very healthy for us to hear.

So I think, you know, by nature in the culture and society that we live in, we have been told that success means do more, work harder, climb the ranks, hit the promotion, do the next thing, do it all, if you will.

put our heads down, bust our asses and do everything we can to get to the goal.

And so many of us, especially high achievers, are really, really good at that, right? We can kind of put our blinders on, which sometimes mean blinders towards the things that are most important, our families or our health or those type of things.

But We take a look at that super high standard we set for ourselves and we do anything to get to it.

I hit the highest award within my company without actually taking hold of the gold medal.

So what did I do? I got back home from that conference and I said, we need more clients.

How do I expand my team? How do we get more classes? And we just keep resetting the bar higher and higher and higher.

You know, I don't know the stats off the top of my head, but it's astronomical right now just in terms of the percentage of people.

I mean, I think it's up like above 60 percent in the U.S. that people that show signs of burnout.

I think in terms of why, well, coming back to this concept of success is I want to invite everyone that we actually get to start to redefine what success looks like for us.

Just because our conditioning, our culture, our upbringing has told us it should look one way.
