You Are More Than Your Worst Mistake

So two worlds come out of that.

One of them embraces Jesus Christ.

The other world says, no.

So you have two paths that you go down.

You can choose one or the other.

One, the wide road as opposed to the narrow road.

So he shows up and when he hits about 30 years old, you can imagine what kind of offspring he was Mary watching him, raising him as a child, and Joseph.

So Jesus shows up, and this is when he first begins his preaching.

In the book of Matthew, when Jesus heard that John, John the Baptist, had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee.

Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, rough place, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali.

To fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah, land of Zebulun, land of Naphtali, the way to the sea along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, the people living in darkness have seen a great light.

on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned, helps on the way.

From that time on, Jesus began to preach, repent for the kingdom of heaven is near.

He calls his disciples together.

He goes up on a mountain top, mountain side, chapter five, When he saw the crowds, crowds gathering, he went up on a mountainside and he sat down, which is interesting.

He just walks up there, side of a hill.

He just sits down.

They all gathered up.

His disciples came to him and he began to teach them saying, And that's where we are today.

Jesus sitting on a side of a mountain and he's going to teach them on what the people of the kingdom, his kingdom would look like.

It's near, it's at hand.

He's there to found it.

He founded it by dying on a cross, being buried and raised from the dead, which they had a difficult time with because it just, it was hard for them to believe it.

Started in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

They all tell the same story.
