Today I want to talk to you about your branding and specifically I want to tell you a story about my branding that I think you're going to be able to relate to.

There was a long period of time where I felt like the things that I was drawn to, the things that I feel like identified who I was as a person, my brand style, there was a long period of time where I used to think that I was too boring to have a fun brand.

And I've actually struggled with this for a really long time as a business owner because I am someone who tends to just really enjoy the simple things in life.

Like truly and honestly, there is nothing that brings me more joy than having slow mornings, waking up, making my cup of coffee, my cinnamon latte, putting on my eye jellies, like sitting and meditating, like laying on the couch, watching Netflix.

I love the more like bougie, exciting, fun things, but I really don't need a lot of that stuff in order to feel fulfilled and happy.

And I love that about myself, but I also felt for a really long time a lot of imposter syndrome about what that meant for me as a business owner because I felt like I needed to want flashier things.

I felt like I needed to always be saving up for big vacations and big trips and like spending money on things that people would think were cool.

When in reality, the things that I love feel so simple, right? Like I can add on to that going for my daily walks, my weighted vest walks.

I just really don't have a lot of things about me that feel really flashy and overly exciting, at least not in my opinion.

And so when I thought about creating my brand, I struggled with this for a really long time because I felt like I needed to try to be someone that I wasn't.

And I have a feeling in a sense that as a therapist, you can likely relate to this a lot.
