Nick, what was the sort of key takeaways for you from that today? I thought it was a very interesting interview.

quick but I mean it had to be obviously with the deadlines but the confidence is what kind of comes across there it's the okay we don't have all the information but we do need to make a decision so let's you know you know it's maybe confidence isn't quite the right word but it's the surety of what Wiltshire stood for and then going to find something that matched that as much as possible and getting a little bit of an insight into that whole process was really interesting

What I really liked was the sort of, I suppose, her explanation on speaking to the different pools and actually trying to find the thing that fits with what their philosophy is.

The opportunity to build something, I think, was a key aspect in her and the team choosing Central over some of the other pools.

And I think what's also, I would also throw in there is like the positivity, you know, during a really stressful, you know, time limited period to, you know, to take a kind of a positive approach and say, okay, let's put our best foot forward, get them to all put their best feet forward and we'll, you know, embrace this with a bit of positivity.

I think the point on almost the get up and go aspect of it when she sort of mentioned actually it was slightly a relief in a weird sort of way because they had a bit of that certainty as to where things were going and And it's sort of very reflective, again, of, I think, the thing that we've discussed a lot about the LGPS, which is they have very much a, yep, this has happened, let's go, kind of attitude.

I remember speaking to Jennifer a while ago now, I think it was pre, it was, well, it was certainly pre Fit for the Future.

And it might have actually been before you joined the company, Tom, but I talked with her for an interview for NAPF Investments and it was brilliant.

my overarching memory kind of, you know, come back to through that interview was that, yes, she's a very positive person.

And actually looking back at that and then looking back at like, okay, when that consultation hit and all that uncertainty is suddenly thrown at you, I think Jennifer's quite a good, you know, good pair of hands to have, you know, steering the ship as it were with that kind of, that kind of attitude.
