If you've been losing sleep over where your wedding photography pricing is supposed to live – on your website, behind an inquiry form, or saved for the discovery call – I want to take that weight off…

I'm glad you're here for this one because pricing is one of the topics I know most photographers really are curious about, and it's one of those topics that I could honestly talk about forever.

And if you've been around for a while, you might remember I did a whole episode on pricing back in episode number 73, and that one was all about whether you should share your pricing before or after a discovery call.

So if you haven't heard it, go back and give that one a listen after this because it does pair really nicely.

But I wanna tell you why I'm coming back to this and why I'm even doing this, like, mini pricing conversations series.

I've seen how photographers are changing and the things that they're struggling with over and over again.

I see it happens all the time, where this truly is something that, like, keeps photographers up at night.

They're like, "Okay, if I am not getting enough inquiries because my pricing is on my website, does it mean that my pricing is too high? Do I need to take it off so I can get more inquiries?" Like, it is just, like, a constant struggle, and I do feel like even the way, like, couples are finding their photographer and why they're choosing their photographer, that's changing.

I wanted to go deeper, and I wanted to get really specific with you about the, the here and now.

If you've ever heard me talk about pricing and, like, having to set pricing, you've probably heard me say, like, I know how it feels to be in a place where, if you're a newer photographer, let's say, it's like, how do I put a number on this, man? Like, I'm photographing one of the most important days of someone's life.

This is truly, like, a once in a lifetime thing, and yet you do have to put a number on it, and it's like, how do you get to that place? Then also on the flip side, like, as you've been in this business for a while, it's like you want to continue growing.

And as someone who's gotten to photographing, you know, $15,000 weddings, the question has never been for me, "Should pricing be on my website?" The real question has always been how we are sequencing the whole thing, like, what you say, where you say it, in what order, and in what depth.
