Alvarez-Gyokeres SWAP? Arsenal Want Watkins AGAIN & Defender Tempted By Move! | Transfer Daily

So are we going to see some movement on some of the players that Arsenal are looking to try and sign? First of all, I've got to revisit this one.

I spoke about this a couple of weeks ago.

And at the time, I can't remember the journalist who broke this news.

And at the time, a lot of us were just looking on this and saying, come on, don't be ridiculous.

This ain't going to happen.

But it's back again.

And this time, it's Marca.

Very well-established publication based over there in Spain that are reporting this today.

All about Julian Alvarez and Victor Yocarez and the possibility of a swap deal between them.

We know that Alvarez wants to leave.

Atletico Madrid, he wants to go to Barcelona, maybe Real Madrid, but Barcelona is his preferred destination.

We know that.

We know that he wants to leave.

We know that Atletico Madrid are not entertaining selling him to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

But if he digs his heels in and he wants to go, where will he go? And these rumours are emerging again with him being linked with Arsenal.

And we know that Atletico Madrid, big admirers of Victor Jokers, they wanted to sign him as well when Arsenal got him.

Could this swap deal happen? As I said, Marco reporting today that...

Arsenal might be willing to do a swap deal with Victor Jokeres plus £85 million.

That's a huge deal.

And I started to look at this because, I don't know, for me...

This is just me personally, and I know, you know, there's a lot of different opinions because we were talking about this the other day on Forever Arsenal.

I'm kind of in the camp that I don't want to swap deal.

If Arsenal to get Julian Alvarez, I want Julian Alvarez with Victor Jokeres.

That's what I'd like to see.

I'd like to see the two of them playing if Arsenal was to get him and maybe have Alvarez more out on the left with Jokeres down the middle.
