And I'd love to just find out from you, what's been a takeaway for you from the conversation today? Just something that's emerged for you.

I want to seamlessly link it back to what we were talking about at the beginning.

And I think this is what's happening in workplaces right now and what leaders are facing for me really comes into what I was saying at the beginning in terms of those three lessons.

So 20, 30 years of experience or being in your 40s, 50s or 60s makes absolutely no difference at all because nobody knows.

So it really does link into that first point of actually age doesn't make a difference it's that it is resilience it is your behaviors it is how you have the skills and the character to be able to lead people through it and actually it's okay for everybody at the moment to say I don't know because it's moving so rapidly that that very few people have the answers and I went to a conference a couple of weeks ago and was sitting with people who are in the AI world and they were very quick to say, we don't know.

So I think really just what we've been talking about really feeds into those first two lessons.

And actually, it's your... character and your behaviors as a leader is what is going to be the difference that makes the difference in how your teams come through that period of change it's not your knowledge it's not your experience it's your your skills and your attributes that are going to make the difference and yeah it's been an interesting conversation

I guess there's something around making sure that they show up in these moments rather than retreat.

Because there will be the strengths and the talents that you've got that are going to be really advantageous to whatever that situation is that you're in that you can bring that will be slightly different from somebody else and the way they might solve it or the way that they might deal with it so just um having confidence that they're the resourcefulness of that person that will be able to deal with the situation there something that occurs to me today

um Well, I'm trying to, you know, I wonder on that because I think there's, again, it's the pace at which it's moving, I think is quite the significant element to that because I'm trying to reflect back on the dawn of the internet,

Even the home PC, having a computer that was able to be at your desk at home or somewhere at home, felt quite significant.
