Rater is a movement for women to feel, express, and really harness their anger.

So societally, it's really not typical, and we're really not allowed to express anger.

In fact, when women do, it's seen as negative.

And so this is causing a whole host of issues, including we have chronic fatigue at much higher rates than men, autoimmune disease at much higher rates than men, and they're starting to...

Create the connection between this and anger and suppressed anger.

And I'm on this mission to be like, uh-uh, we can't hold this in anymore.

We got to get our needs met.

We got to go towards our yearnings.

We got to go towards what we want in this world.

And anger is at the core of that get shit done, go towards stuff energy.

And so we have a lot of women who are really sad.

And the patriarchy has, like, conditioned us to be sad.

Like... sad women aren't going to change a bunch of things.

We got to like really connect and harness to the anger inside of us, which for many women is the emotion that they were told is absolutely unacceptable.

Yeah.

What does it look like at a rage her event? Like what, like if, if, if Amani were to walk into one tomorrow, what would he find?

Depends on what part you walk into, the beginning parts.

It's modeled after a girl's night out at the club.

So it's kind of in three sections, the Tempest Tavern, the Fury Floor, and the Livid Lounge.

So you walk in the Tempest Tavern, you're gonna see women connecting over questions around anger.

Who was allowed to be angry in your family? Who wasn't? When's the last time you were angry? Describe your anger as an animal.

Then we move into the fury floor.

We'll set some ground rules.

There's a 45 minute musical arc that increases intensity.

We've got bolsters, we got bats, we got pillows, we've got rage doulas who are there to support women in their expression experience.
