And I feel like this word authentic is thrown around a lot.

And I know we've had previous discussions about this particular concept of authenticity.

It's a word that gets used everywhere right now.

So in your opinion, what does authenticity actually

mean? I think authenticity, it's like a bit of a double edged sword.

Sometimes it's like, yes, I'm being really authentic and expressed and I'm doing all the things.

But actually, where are you being expressed from?

What

part of you are you being authentic with? You know, is it actually the wounded child that's still acting out because they want some approval? They want validation.

They want to be seen.

heard loved adored whatever it is um or is it actually a place where true authenticity comes and that is a place of deep humbleness and vulnerability one one to be truly authentic um in a way that you know we're talking about business and life to be heard and seen is um you come from heart and there's a vulnerability around that so you've got to be okay with stepping into a place of That little bit edgy, it's like, oh, this is a little bit uncomfortable, but I'm going to do it.

And we're not forcing a bravado.

You know, we're told often, you know, be brave.

And being brave is okay.

But actually where we want to be coming from is courage.

And the roots of the word courage is from the Latin heart.

And

so where we're courageous is like this, it's almost like an intake of breath.

And it's like, okay, I can do this.

And I'm coming through with a place of, vulnerability but real truth and integrity so for me that's where true authenticity comes from and you can tell the difference

you can

you can smell it sense it in somebody when somebody is forcing it or when somebody is like not quite sure about this but i'm gonna be doing it anyway or they're really okay because they've done the work they're doing the work and they're being the work in the world of like okay i i'm here and i know who i am and i'm taking ownership And that's the other thing.

It's taking ownership and accountability for one's actions, one's words, one's deeds in the world.

Because when you are taking action of full responsibility and accountability, then you can come from a place of authenticity rather than this very top level.
