So last week we finished, uh, talking about the importance of when it comes to the masjid, um, understanding the ability to, as they say, read the room, right? To know where you are.
So whether it's, like, processing the etiquettes that a person should have, um, or just understanding kind of like what type of, uh, conversations should be happening in the masjid, and how that can shift and change really the entire experience, not only for yourself, but for others.
So we left off, um, on the hadith where it was mentioned that the Prophet, Alayhi Salatu Wasallam, he said in the hadith that was prophesizing some of the behavior of the final days, which again can be a indication of something that's really, really important, very critical and very heavy.
So anytime there's a sign of, like, the last days, it typically talks about something that is connected to, um, a really, really, uh, heavy shift in behavior that is bringing on an indication that this is coming towards the end of times.
And he said that there will be people from my community, from the Muslims, who will go to the masjid, who will sit in circles and will talk about this world and loving this world.
You know, in Surah Hujurat, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala actually says that ""La tajharu bilqawli kajahri ba'dikum liba'din an tahbata a'malukum wa antum la tash'uroon." It's a very interesting statement.
He says, "Don't speak to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam the same way that you talk to one another casually, otherwise you might inadvertently erase all of your deeds and you'll be unaware." What is the, what is the warning here? Well, it's talking about the people's relationship with the Prophet Alayhi Salatu Wasallam, and there's a story behind this verse actually.
The story goes that there was a man who was coming to visit Medina, visit the Prophet Alayhi Salatu Wasallam with his tribe, and he was the leader of this tribe, and as he arrived at the city of Medina, it was, it was nighttime.
So by the time they arrived and they got settled, the believers had already prayed their Isha prayer, and they had gone to sleep for the night.
And, but they arrived, and so the people who were in the journey in the caravan, they were really excited to see the Prophet Alayhi Salatu Wasallam.
So they went to their tribal leader, this man, and they were like, "You know, like, I know that it's, he's, he's home for the night, but like, you know, you, you're our leader.
Like, you're, you're an important guy and you should know him, and maybe you know him, and maybe you can pull some strings," right? "Maybe he can come out and visit us." And so this guy, feeling the pressure of his people, he went actually outside of the house of the Prophet Alayhi Salatu Wasallam, like right outside of his front door, and he said, you know, "Oh, Muhammad, we're here," like, "We've arrived." And it's a very strange, a very, like, unorthodox thing to do to anybody really, but especially the prophet of Allah, is to go out their house and tell them, "Hey, we've ar- we've arrived.
Come out." So the Prophet Alayhi Salatu Wasallam, like, didn't hear him, so he didn't come outside, and so the man becomes embarrassed.
You know, have you ever told someone that you have a connection and you try to call them, they didn't pick up? That's basically what's happening, right? He's like, "I got a connection." He's tried to call, no pick up.
Oh, I know the manager, don't worry," and it's just ringing, right? And you're like, "Oh, okay.
You pretend like you got the ph- no, you didn't get it, right? So this guy is feeling this embarrassment.
You know, because let's say that you have a close friend, and let's say that that friend or whatever is not answering you.
