Number one is that the Prophet in his own way was trying to navigate and understand his own interpretation of what was happening.
Not that he doubted or disbelieved, but he was trying to figure out exactly what this all meant.
And sometimes, you know, especially when you're going through something very difficult, you kind of run in circles in your head.
I don't know if you guys have ever had that before where like you're playing all the scenarios out over and over and over again.
And as you go through the scenarios, sometimes you run into the same explanations, right? And as you run into the same explanation, the same scenario, you start to ask yourself, like, am I okay? Like, is everything okay? So as the Prophet, peace be upon him, is exploring these things, Allah answers him in the next revelation by saying, you're not crazy.
And the one evidence that Allah pointed to, and this is where we finished last week.
The one evidence that Allah pointed to to give him that affirmation that you're not crazy was not anything to do with like lineage, tribe, wealth, status, power.
So where we landed on last week as we concluded was, your character... proves who you are.
And I put the word disproves because the absence of character can also show you who you are.
He didn't say you come from a high status in your lineage, even though he did.
